With the sad news of the passing of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud came a lighthearted anecdote of a visit the then Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia made to Great Britain back in 1998. While visiting Balmoral he was treated to a tour and to his surprise the Queen took her seat behind the wheel.
Saudi Arabia still does not allow it's women to drive so it was unnerving enough to see a woman drive, much less a Queen. Crown Prince Abdullah was even more scared when the Queen put her foot down and sped down the narrow roads around the estate. You can read the full story below:
